About Us

Adam R. Hill is the founder of Hill Law and the driving force behind its philosophy of finding new ways to provide low cost legal services.  This drive originates from the current dire needs of people who cannot afford the high costs of hiring a private attorney.  Adam is in the process of building an interactive system for clients to take themselves through the legal landscape in the Nashville area, with direction and guidance provided through an innovative format to reach more people and expand services.  This service may be right for you if you need an attorney’s assistance but cannot afford a typical attorney’s time.

Adam began the private practice of law following his work with a downtown Nashville law firm, where he concentrated his practice in civil litigation.  Adam is a dedicated litigator and advocate, and has worked across the Mid-State on behalf of clients in civil and criminal cases, specifically including fraud and consumer protection, criminal defense, personal injury, small claims, landlord tenant disputes, real estate disputes, bankruptcy, wills and estates, product liability, and animal law.  Adam maintains membership in the Nashville Bar Association, the Tennessee Bar Association, and the American Bar Association.

Adam graduated from Vanderbilt University Law School where he earned awards for his work in Ethics and Professionalism, Advanced Trial Advocacy, and served on the Moot Court Board Managing Counsel.  Adam spent his first year of law school at the University of Memphis, where he achieved distinction for his work in Torts and Civil Procedure, and earned Best Oral Advocate in the first year Moot Court competition.  During law school, Adam served as a summer clerk for Senior Judge John T. Nixon of the United States District Court for the Middle District of Tennessee.

Before joining the legal community, Adam worked in local politics on behalf of candidates for office, successfully managing the race of Judge Dan Eisenstein for his current post of General Sessions Judge.  Adam maintains his connections to the local political community and is active in a number of organizations dedicated to bringing services to those in need.  Adam is a graduate of Davidson College and Montgomery Bell Academy.

Adam is a Freemason with Doric Lodge, a longtime member of the Nashville Mindfulness Meditation Group, and he and his wife are members of Second Presbyterian Church.  They enjoy spending time hiking in the Nashville area and eating at locally owned restaurants.  They are both writers for the food blog Nashville Foodies, and are often found at farmer’s markets pestering good people about their products and dreams.
