Divorce

I offer divorces through a collaborative law process, wherein each family member contractually agrees to resolve everything in mediation, rather than a dramatic, frustrating, and divisive legal battle.  This approach avoids further emotional pain in an already broken relationship.  Sadly, lawyers themselves can have a divisive impact and lead to further legal costs, extended discovery, and a lingering unpleasant aftertaste when the court process has concluded.  To avoid this potential situation, collaborative law offers an attractive approach.

This process is made easier for couples without children, but it works in most situations where couples are willing to work together to end their relationship on amicable terms.  In some situations, a divorce ceremony has been successful in bringing a relationship to an end on a positive note.  As opposed to the last contact between former husband and wife being the frustrated signature on a legal document, a special event is arranged once all the details have been taken care of, and the couple can focus on expressing their hopes for the future as well as some of their fond memories before departure.

If this approach is interesting to you and your spouse, please call me.  To learn more about this process, please follow the link below.
