Neighborhood disputes about animals are relatively common, and in Tennessee we have our fair share of pets, livestock and horses that can require the protection of a lawyer. Often these disputes arise around the home, so I try to advise my clients to keep the end goal of a calm living environment in mind. No one wants to be coming home worrying about a vindictive neighbor and what they might do next.
If you have been cited for excessive barking or other issues, I can help. If you need protection from someone who is threatening your animals on the basis of their behaviors (or those behaviors someone claims they have), I can also offer you my services.
Tennessee’s criminal code is also full of provisions relating to animals, so you may be smart to ask an attorney to investigate your potential status.
